We have maintenance planned for Apigee Monetization Infrastructure for Apigee Edge for Public Cloud as per the below schedule per region.

During the maintenance window, Apigee Monetization billing, reports and Monetization Management APIs will not be available for Monetization enabled Customers. Apigee Edge runtime traffic will not be impacted by this maintenance activity. Monetized runtime calls will resume the rating once the systems are up and running again. After the rating is done, the data for this period would also be available in the reports covering the day.


There is no impact to Apigee Edge Customers who do not have Monetization feature enabled.

Note: This is not a new feature release, the system and existing functionalities will continue to operate in the same manner as before.

FAQs:
What is changing?
A maintenance activity will be performed on the backend systems supporting Monetization.

Are customers required to make any changes?
No.

Will customers be able to access Monetization reports during this period ?
Reporting functionality will NOT be available during this maintenance period for Customers having monetization enabled. There is NO impact to Customers who do not have Monetization enabled.

Monetized runtime calls will resume the rating once the systems are up and running again. After the rating is done, the data for this period would also be available in the reports covering the day.

Will customers be able to use Management Functionality/APIs during this period ?
For Customers having monetization enabled: Below Management APIs will not be available:
1. API products
2. App
3. Developer
4. Company
5. Rate plan
6. Reports
7. Notifications
8. Transactions Search

This is an indicative list of APIs that deal with Monetization specific entities or entities used by the Monetization system. Management APIs that handle entities such as proxies, deployments etc. that do not impact Monetization directly may be used.

For customers not using Monetization (disabled): Management APIs would be available.

How can customers check if Monetization is enabled for them?
The customers can use this API (https://apidocs.apigee.com/docs/organizations/1/routes/organizations/%7Borg_name%7D/get)
to check the org level properties.
If one of the properties in the response is as below, it means that the Monetization is enabled.
If the property is not present or the value is false, it means that it is disabled.
