We have maintenance planned for Apigee Hosted Targets and Extensions for Apigee Edge for Public Cloud from September 23, 2024 - October 04, 2024.
During the maintenance window, Apigee Edge runtime traffic to Hosted Targets and Extensions will NOT be impacted and we expect no impact to operations related to managing new and existing Hosted Targets and Extensions.
There is no impact to Apigee Edge Customers who do not use Hosted Targets or Extensions.
Note: This is not a new feature release, the system and existing functionalities will continue to operate in the same manner as before.
What is changing? A maintenance activity will be performed on the backend systems supporting Hosted Targets and Extensions.
Are customers required to make any changes? No.
Will customers be able to access all Hosted Targets and Extensions features during this period ? Yes. No runtime traffic will be impacted and management APIs will continue to work as expected.
How can customers check if Hosted Targets or Extensions are in use? Hosted Targets are a special type of proxy that can be found by examining the proxy bundles for the <HostedTarget/> tag in the proxy endpoint definition. Extensions can be queried by using the v1/organizations/{org}/environments/{env}/extensions management API.
How will I know if something is broken due to this maintenance activity? In the unlikely event something goes wrong with the maintenance activity, runtime traffic will remain unaffected, but managing new or existing Hosted Targets and Extensions may be impacted.
